New 2nd Edition

We are excited to announce that an expanded, updated and reformatted 2nd Edition of the support workbook for family members is nearing completion. What to look forward to about the 2nd Edition:

  • REFORMATTED: Each of the 12 Steps will now be divided into 1 or more chapters, which we call Sections. There are 28 Sections in the workbook. Each Section includes a promise and was created to be the right length for a single support group meeting, making the workbook much easier to use.
  • UPDATED & EXPANDED: We have been working for several years to expand our workbook, which will now include Sections on betrayal trauma, processing emotions, boundaries, perfectionism, and rebuilding relationships. At the request of many users, it will include valuable information from the recovery workbook to increase understanding of what those struggling with addiction are going through, as well. These additional sections will strengthen and broaden family members’ understanding while providing additional recovery tools needed to increase healing for family members and their relationships.
  • AVAILABILITY DATE: We are on schedule to complete all our final reviews by June of 2026. We will then have the manuscript reformatted to meet all the parameters of the printer. That can take between 4-6 weeks, plus an additional month to print the workbooks, making them available for purchase by the Fall of 2026. Once the 2nd Edition is printed, we will no longer be printing the 1st Edition.
  • SPECIAL OFFER: We believe that this revised and improved Edition will be easier to use and that the new information will foster increased healing and recovery to all who use it.
